Cameron H. Goodman

For nearly a decade Mr. Goodman has been representing corporations in the areas of commercial litigation, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy. He is a seasoned litigator with extensive trial experience. Before founding his own firm, he worked at some of Chicago’s most notable defense firms.

Mr. Goodman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997 and his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2000. He graduated from law school with High Honors and served as a member of the law review and moot court team. After graduation, he joined Schiff Hardin & Waite LLP in Chicago, Illinois.

Since Schiff Hardin & Waite LLP, Mr. Goodman has devoted his career to protecting the interests of secured and unsecured creditors in litigation. He has published in the field of creditors’ rights. Specifically, on the issue of “piercing the corporate veil,” Mr. Goodman wrote Piercing the Corporate Veil and Holding a Non-Shareholder Liable in Illinois, J. DuPage County B. Ass’n, May 2006, at 6.

Mr. Goodman is a member of the Commercial Law League of America, the Illinois Creditors’ Rights Bar Association, the General Bar, American Lawyers Quarterly, the Columbia Law List, the Forwarder’s List of Attorneys, the Wright-Holms Law List, the DuPage County Bar Association, the Will County Bar Association, and the Wisconsin State Bar Association. Mr. Goodman is admitted to the bar in Illinois and Wisconsin. He is also admitted to the Northern District of Illinois and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
